Research Week is an annual opportunity for all Departments and affiliated Research Institutes of Austin Health to present their work publically.

This event documents the research undertaken at Austin Health showcasing the breadth and excellence of our research. 

All abstracts will be disseminated interstate and overseas in the Abstract Book. All abstracts will be published in the Abstract Book and those selected for poster display will be notified by the end of August 2006.

Prizes

Please indicate on the Abstract Submission Form which of the following prizes you wish to apply for. The documents below are provided in PDF format.

• ABMA Award

• Allied Health Research Award

• Austhos Travelling Fellowship

• Ludwig Institute Scholarship

• Nursing Research Award

Posters selected for display will be eligible for the Best Visual Poster Award. All abstracts will be published in the Abstract Book as a permanent record and abstracts selected for display will be notified in August.

Poster Displays

• All abstracts selected for display will be notified in August and will need to prepare a poster - Clinical Photography can assist with poster production

• Poster Size: 1.1 metres x 1.1 metres

• Presenting author is required to attend Poster Session (details of date and location will be given in September)

• Posters will be on display for the entire week

• Research Week Committee will arrange posters thematically.

• Award winning posters will be notified

• Velcro will be provided for mounting.
